This page explains what Armadillo Additive does with your information when you visit armadilloadditive.com or get in touch with us. It covers the whole site.
It is short because our practices are short. We are a contract manufacturer. We collect what we need to answer your questions and quote your parts, and that is about it.
1. What you send us
1.1 The contact form
The contact form is one place on this site where you type information to us. It asks for five things:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company
- Your role
- Your message
When you submit the form, those fields go to a Cloudflare Worker that delivers them to us as an email. We read that email and reply to it. There is no customer database sitting behind the form.
1.2 Booking a meeting
Our contact page also has our own scheduler for booking a 30 minute meeting. It asks for your name, email, company, role, and what you would like to discuss. The scheduler checks the selected Armadillo Additive calendar through Microsoft 365, then creates an Outlook calendar event and Microsoft Teams meeting. Microsoft sends the calendar invitation to the email you provide.
1.3 What we do not collect
- No accounts, logins, or profiles. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No newsletter or mailing list.
- No contests, promotions, or surveys.
- No payment or credit card information, anywhere on this site.
2. What gets collected automatically
A few third party services run on the site. They use cookies or similar storage and see standard connection details like your IP address, your browser, and which pages you look at.
- Apollo.io website visitor tracking, which tells us which companies are looking at the site.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records sessions and builds heatmaps so we can see where pages confuse people.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and keeps request logs.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs on the contact form and meeting scheduler to keep spam out.
- Microsoft 365, which provides Outlook calendar availability and Microsoft Teams meetings.
- Elfsight, which loads our LinkedIn feed on the socials page from its own servers.
Each of those services handles what it collects under its own privacy policy. The cookies and similar technology on this site come from them, not from us.
3. How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, quote your parts, and run the business. That is the whole list. We do not sell it and we do not rent it out. The only outside parties that touch it are the services named above and any vendor we need to involve to do the work you asked us about.
4. Your choices
Want to know what we have on you, or want it gone? Email [email protected] and ask. We will tell you what we have and delete it if that is what you want.
You can also block most of the tracking above with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker. The contact form and meeting scheduler do need Turnstile to load, since that is the spam check.
5. Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
